Raised $5,000. Event: Multicultural Dinner in Carver, MN
$5,000 were given as scholarships to ten students. Each scholarship was worth $500.
Raised $5,000. Event: Pancake Breakfast in Carver, MN
$5,000 were given as scholarships to 5 students. Each scholarship was worth $1,000.
Raised $5,000. Event: Fair Trade Global Market in Excelsior, MN
Focus: sustainability, engagement and growth.
Rotarian Char Weber and former Chaska Rotary President helped us obtain this grant of $5,000 to help us raise awareness of the Vamos! Scholarship program in the community.

Vamos! Scholarship will give five (5) scholarships worth $1,500 each totaling $7,500. These will be given to students from Chaska High School, in Carver County.

Due to Covid-19 our Fundraising efforts were 100% virtual. We run this campaign between Nov 15th through Nov 30th, 2020.
$3,500 was raised from generous donors this year.
Our compromise remains intact: to promote and work towards Equity and Opportunity for LatinX students in Carver County through Higher Education in College.

Local vendors featuring handmade Fair Trade products for the Fall/Winter and Holiday Season were featured in a celebration of love for our global community!
